Doyens School

As a parent, I entrust my greatest blessing to the staff at Doyen everyday, and I am grateful for the care and guidance he receives. The teachers and proprietress look at each child as an individual, with their own strengths and needs. My son has been blessed with the best teachers who understand his challenges, and handle him with grace. My child has learned so much and continues to share with me the great activities that go on each day at "school!" Thank you to the Amazing staff at doyen for a curriculum that engages and teaches at all steps of the day, and a special thanks to Mrs omoniyi as she continues to do an amazing work with the children.​

When my son joined Doyens school. he could identify numbers and sounds but struggled to write 1 and couldn’t write any sound or alphabet. He had forgotten a lot because he missed first term in his former school. I was really worried because he ought to be writing 1-50 and a -z. After much discussion the school agreed to admit him on trail till mid term to see if he could catch up. His first 8 school days he cried almost all through the day. New environment plus he had missed school for some time. My worry became worse because mid term was very close. The school director would tell me not to worry that he will adjust with time. Things started picking up and got better gradually. Now May 2018 my son writes 1-100, a-z, A-Z without supervision. Amazing right, he can do simple additions and subtractions. He’s comfortable with his new environment and more confident and independent. I know kids grow but trust me Doyens school did their due diligence to get the best of the child. When looking for a school for my kids i had just that in mind. A friend told me about DOYENS SCHOOL, so I went to check it out & from the School gate I was hooked. The security personnel greeted with a big smile & directed me to where I can get information. The School environment, teachers and even the parents have been caring...the children are surrounded by examples of what they should be not just in spoken words, but in actions. One main area of interest to me is the teaching. Learning is made so simple for the pupils in such a way my five years old come home and talk about fossils energy off hand... Parents teacher interaction here at DOYEN is impeccable. Everyday I get to know what my kids have been up to outside what they tell me. The School administration is always open to new suggestions. Every term has been an improvement. My kids are always eager to go to school.

After relocating to Omole Phase 2, I started looking for a school to meet and exceed the standard of where we were coming from and I tell you, the standard was high. I took my daughter to a big school outside the estate but I wasn't comfortable and my baby was never happy. I met and acquainted myself with the Head of Doyens School, went there to inspect the school and I felt like I had found it. Brought my daughters to see the school and they were happy. Spoke with Mrs Omoniyi and her dreams and aspirations for the school and the kids were what I had been looking for. I enrolled my baby and it's been bliss all the way. She is doing academically well..i truly am marvelled at her learning speed. The environment is great. Staff were very friendly and polite. Response to enquiries, suggestions and complaints are apt and swift. My daughter loves it in Doyens School and so do I.

Doyens Family is one to belong to. The teachers care for not just pupils in their class. They notice when children are ill or absent and keep in touch. We are big but it amazes me when the teachers know the names of pupils -even those not in their classes. The teachers are passionate about their jobs, one can notice that they keep attending training in the way they pass knowledge to the pupils. I admire their mode of delivery because even after the children have been taught a long while ago, they'd still remember the concept. May God bless the Doyens family and take you to greater heights, you are world class

We just want to say thank you to God Almighty for directing our path to Doyens school. We have 2 kids, Praise and Gideon. Praise who was to be admitted into year 1 had difficulty with reading, spelling, handwriting and her confidence level was low. We joined Doyen in 2nd term of year1 and sincerely, the improvements were magical. Our baby is so confident now that she can read anything, spell correctly no matter how long those words might be and she can relate with anybody/everybody and anywhere. A huge appreciation to Miss Ibironke, thank you for spending extra time with Praise, the result was awesome and we would surely miss you. Thank You to the Managment and staff of Doyens school, we are grateful. Up Doyens !!!

Doyens is a place of committed, passionate educators and continuous growth. They are constantly improving which in turn helps the pupils transcend into better and brilliant pupils. The school has helped to allay some fears I had with one of my sons at the commencement of his education at Doyens. I recalled when I was worried about my second child's rate of assimilation compared with his elder brother, Mrs. Omoniyi encouraged me to give him the necessary support at home as they do their part in school. she advised me not to compare them as children are different and learn in different ways. she sighted an example with one of her daughters who is today doing amazingly. They have both developed confidence, a strong personality, mental alertness reasonable independence that requires a little guide to accomplish tasks. They have identified their passion that is obvious to me and we are working together at it. Doyens is indeed your go-to school for academic and moral excellence.

The decision to enrol our daughter into a school was a tough one as my husband and I were very picky about the choice of School. Finally, we chose Doyens school and have not regretted our decision. Our daughter has been attending Doyens School and she absolutely love it. She frequently sings her teachers' name at home. She would walk herself to school if she was able to. The staff are friendly, courteous and exhibits professionalism. The teachers helped her to settle into school quickly. On a faithful day,while I was getting our daughter ready for school in the bathroom,the next thing she did was touch the wall tiles and said "this is square". I was so amazed and happy at her level of reasoning. She is so passionate about school and seldom wants to leave during closing time. She takes initiative, loves helping people and is very confident about herself. The excellent care and grooming makes me recommend Doyens school to friends, families and parents who want to raise exceptional Citizens

Dear Team, I will like to appreciate your efforts on my daughters, truly learning is fun in Doyen School. With just one session completed at Doyen school, I have seen alot of transformation in my daughters, I have seen excellent leadership skills being developed, I have seen resilience being built and amazing social skills. The learning activites over the last one year in doyen has also made me a better parent as I am forced to be involved all the way. It's just like we are all a student of Doyen together.  This is evidently shown as I can mentioned all their classmates names and even put faces to some names. It's such a fun and warm environment created by a great team. Special thanks to the Kindergarten and Year two tutors, you guys rock, you are simply amazing.  So much so that my girls said they feel like not going to the next class.  Thank you Doyen school, we look forward to another great year.

Iremide and Ayomide's teachers in our new school says they are so unique among their mates (oyinbo children). They wonder how Ayo can finish reading a book in one day ( his assignment) and others will read for a week 😀.. I said to myself Doyens homework is more than all these naa… Thanks so much Mrs Omoniyi 🙏you have given my children a very good foundation we just can’t stop mentioning Doyens school here in Birmingham when people comment about how unique my daughter can read well@ 5 … (I know I complain a lot about the homework then🙈)May God continue to protect you and the entire Doyens family ..We love you and miss everyone ❤❤

As I started to search for a school Darasimi can go in the UK, I realized that everything you have been teaching them is international standard. Thank you Doyens school for helping me discover the potentials in my child, it started with Ms Esther his playgroup teacher. I’m grateful for that foundation you laid for him. You know, my plan was to homeschool him but a parent referred me to Doyens and I told my husband, why don’t we try it out and since then, it’s been from one testimony to another . Good evening ma'am. I thought to share this with you. The girls asked for paper to draw this evening as they usually do before bedtime and this was what they did... I didnt notice it at first until I looked closely and saw they labelled parts of a plant. The spellings in the box are theirs. I only helped to spell correctly on the right. Super proud of them and their teachers. They are certainly retaining knowledge and showing high functioning skills. Kudos to Doyens 👏👏

Hmmmm, honestly I'm relieved for being part of Doyen family, before my kids joined Doyen, I've been having sleepness night on how to cope with my little kids academically, couple with the challenging I was facing then,but I thank Almighty for Doyen school, you did not disappoint me.

Am using this opportunity to give kudos to the management, pls don't relent in monitoring your work especially the teachers and I pray Almighty will bless and strengthen both staff and non teaching staff of Doyen school.

I will be glad if you can focus more on visual art in your school ,I noticed my little angel in kindergarten has interest in that area she loves drawing a lot and I believe there will be some kids like that in the school, you can invite a good instructor from outside to be taking them,in my own view. Good morning Mrs Omoniyi thank you for everything you do to keep grooming the children to be the best version of themselves. Happy about her improvement too, my once quiet Oyinkansola has now become a more intelligent and confident Oyinkansola. She says her classmates joking tell her they miss the quieter Oyinkansola but she likes who has become.

I will never stop sharing my testimonies in. Doyens school. I took my son to somewhere inside the estate yesterday when I went back in the evening to pick him up the owner of the place said madam, what’s the name of your son’s school? I shouted Doyens school!
